Sheffield United lost David Brooks to Premier League Bournemouth but the Championship outfit have a replacement in mind, according to reports.

David Brooks might have started just nine of his 30 Championship games for Sheffield United last season, but his £11 million move to Bournemouth robs Chris Wilder of a little creativity and attacking spark.
Yet it seems that the Blades have a replacement in mind, about three weeks before the new league season kicks off.
It has been reported for a while now that Sheffield United are keen to take Ben Woodburn on loan from Liverpool but claims from the Mirror explain why. It is understood that the Steel City outfit view Woodburn as a perfect replacement for his fellow Welshman Brooks.
Wilder has already allegedly made contact with Liverpool to express his interest.
The versatile forward became the youngest goalscorer in Liverpool’s history when he found the net aged 16 in an EFL Cup win against Leeds United in 2016, and he became the second youngest goal-scorer in Wales’ history when he thumped home a stunner against Austria a few months later.

Woodburn has found first-team opportunities at Anfield difficult to come by since, however, although it remains to be seen whether they will let him leave on loan.
The Liverpool Echo claims that Jurgen Klopp will give Woodburn a chance in pre-season and make his decision later in the summer. Woodburn recently scored in the 7-0 thrashing of Tranmere.
