Jonathan Hogg could potentially return to the Premier League this summer with Sheffield United, although Bundesliga giants Schalke are allegedly circling.

Sheffield United are preparing for life in the Premier League by looking to secure a deal for Huddersfield Town captain Jonathan Hogg, according to the Sun.
The Blades are still celebrating a shock return to the top flight of English football after a 12 year absence but, with pre-season about to begin, Chris Wilder’s side will now be looking to get down with the serious business of bringing in fresh faces to Bramall Lane.
The Sun claimed on Friday that Sheffield United had made a £4 million offer for QPR talisman Luke Freeman while hoping that £15 million will be enough to snare Oli McBurnie, a 24-goal Scotland international, from Swansea City.
And Hogg appears to be the latest name on their list.
A tenacious 30-year-old midfielder, Hogg started his career at Aston Villa but he is best known for his six years at Huddersfield, helping to transform the club from a middling Championship outfit into a Premier League side and proving that his £1 million transfer fee was a real bargain.

With just one year left on his contract, however, The Terriers could cash in with Sheffield United rivalling Bundesliga giants Schalke – who are now coached by former Huddersfield boss David Wagner.
And should Hogg arrive, his tough-tackling style and prodigious work rate would surely make him an immediate favourite with Chris Wilder.
