Luke Freeman is reportedly heading to the Premier League with Sheffield United after a fine Championship season with Queens Park Rangers.

Sheffield United are set to make Luke Freeman their first signing of the summer with West London Sport claiming that Queens Park Rangers will sell their star man for just £4 million.
The Sun broke the news on Friday that the newly-promoted Blades had made a £4 million bid for Freeman, who stood out last season in a QPR side who finished 17th in the Championship after a dreadful campaign.
It was expected that QPR would demand far more for a player who established himself as one of the best midfielders outside the Premier League in 2018/19.
But West London Sport believes that the Londoners are about to cash in with Freeman seemingly on the verge of a move to the Steel City – a decision that will no doubt elicit plenty of fury amidst an already frustrated fanbase.

The report adds that Freeman is keen to leave Loftus Road and, with QPR failing to receive the kind of bids they were hoping for, Mark Warburton’s side will now apparently just take what they can get.
Freeman should add plenty of creativity and vision to a Sheffield United midfield though it remains to be seen where he fits into Chris Wilder’s preferred 3-5-2 formation, given that he prefers to play as an orthodox winger or a number ten.
