Guido Carrillo could reportedly return to La Liga outfit Leganes with Premier League Southampton allegedly keen to get rid of their £19m flop.

Guido Carrillo has agreed a return to La Liga outfit Leganes but a few details are yet to be ironed out as Southampton look to cash in their forgotten man before the end of the transfer window, according to Marca.
With just days until the window slams shut all over Europe, The Saints are under pressure to find takers for a number of fringe players, from Mario Lemina to Cedric Soares.
Carrillo, a disastrous £19 million signing from Monaco in January 2018 (BBC), clearly has no future at St Mary’s and spent the whole of last season on loan at Leganes, reuniting with his former Southampton and Estudiantes coach Mauricio Pellegrino.
Marca claims that the Cucumber Growers (no sniggering at the back) have agreed a deal in principle to bring the Argentine striker back to the Butarque after he scored six goals to keep them clear of the La Liga relegation zone last season.

Southampton are still harbouring hopes that they can recoup up to £13.5 million for a centre-forward who failed to score in ten games for the club, though Leganes would prefer to take Carrillo on loan with an option to buy should he impress in a second spell in Spain.
It is pretty much inevitable that the Saints will make a substantial loss on one of their worst signings of the 21st century but surely everyone at St Mary’s would bite your hand off for £13.5 million.
