Scottish Premiership champions Celtic are reportedly hoping to raid Premier League newcomers Sheffield United for right-back George Baldock.

Sheffield United value George Baldock at £3 million, according to the Daily Record, with Celtic reportedly turning their attention to the Premier League newcomer.
It is no secret that Neil Lennon’s side are crying out for a new left-back with Mikael Lustig and Cristian Gamboa set to leave on free transfers at the end of this month. Jeremy Toljan, who spent the last few months on loan at Parkhead from Borussia Dortmund, is on his way out, too.
According to the Mail, Celtic have turned their attention to Baldock, who played a key role as Sheffield United sealed their return to the Premier League after 12 years away last season.
The 26-year-old former MK Dons defender is apparently interested in a move to Glasgow too, having already held initial talks with the Scottish Premiership champions.

Furthermore, his £3 million price-tag is likely to be within Celtic’s grasp. Baldock is out of contract next summer.
The Blades, however, have no interest in selling one of their key players despite the risk of losing him for free in 12 months.
