Kortney Hause impressed on loan at Aston Villa as they joined his parent club Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.

Aston Villa will have to stump up £3 million if they want to make Kortney Hause’s loan deal permanent this summer, according to The Express and Star.
The former England U21 international made the short switch from Molineux to Villa Park in January and the Wolverhampton Wanderers defender had a big impact as Dean Smith’s side sealed a return to the Premier League after three years away.
A centre-back by trade, Hause featured in 12 Championship games with his versatility proving particularly useful as Smith often called on him to fill in on the left-hand side. But the time is against Aston Villa if they want to keep the 23-year-old in claret and blue.
The Express and Star reports that they have until Thursday to complete a permanent deal for Hause, who would cost £3 million.

In today’s market, that looks like pretty good value for money for a talented young defender who can play in a number of positions across the back line.
With Axel Tuanzebe expected to return to Manchester United and Tommy Elphick released, Villa surely won’t want to lose another defender already.
