Aberdeen’s Scottish Premiership captain Graeme Shinnie was spotted being shown around by Championship outfit Derby County on Thursday.

Derby County have offered Graeme Shinnie a five-year deal as they look to lure the Aberdeen captain to Pride Park, as reported by the Press and Journal.
The future of the 27-year-old Scotland international has been the subject of plenty of speculation recently with his contract due to expire at the end of the season.
The Bristol Post claimed that Rangers and Celtic were competing to bring Shinnie to Glasgow while Bristol City were also interested.
But Derby appear to be in the front seat right now, especially after the former Inverness star was seemingly pictured being shown around Pride Park on Thursday.
The Press and Journal reports that the Rams have offered him a five-year contract and have even committed themselves to handing Shinnie a testimonial once his spell at the club comes to an end.

Handing a five-year deal to a player who will turn 28 in August may be something of a risk, but it seems unlikely that Celtic, Rangers or Bristol City would be willing to put such a contract on the table.
Furthermore, this surely means that Derby are planning for life without Craig Bryson, their own Scotland midfielder who is also due to be a free agent in July.
