Premier League high-flyers Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly closing in on a deal for AC Milan’s Serie A striker Patrick Cutrone.

Wolverhampton Wanderers will offer AC Milan Patrick Cutrone a contract worth around £150,000 a week as they look to conclude a deal for the Italian international centre-forward, as reported by Milan News.
A fortnight ago, Nuno Espirito Santo spoke out publicly about the need for Wolves to make some additions to their impressive yet rather lightweight squad with just a few weeks remaining until the transfer window slammed shut, in quotes reported by The Mail.
And it seems that the manager’s pleas have not been ignored.
Jesus Vallejo arrived at Molineux on Sunday from Real Madrid no less than Patrick Cutrone is now on his way to the Black Country from AC Milan.
According to The Guardian, Wolves have agreed an initial £16 million fee with the Rossoneri to sign an old-school 22-year-old centre-forward who scored 27 goals in his first two seasons in the Milan first team.

And Milan News claims that Wolves are set to double Cutrone’s wages, offering him £150,000 a week after tax, with the Como-born striker set to sign a contract until 2023.
So if anyone had any doubts about Wolves’ ambition and their reach in the transfer market, signing two talented young prospects from Real Madrid and AC Milan should only reinforce the view that this is a club on the rise.
