Simon Mignolet and Bournemouth loanee Clyne look set to leave Jurgen Klopp’s Premier League runners-up Liverpool this summer.
Liverpool are hoping to bring in around £30 million from the sales of Nathaniel Clyne and Simon Mignolet this summer, according to the Mail.
Jurgen Klopp inherited both players when he took over at Liverpool in 2015, Clyne and Mignolet having arrived at Anfield during the reign of his predecessor Brendan Rodgers.
And they have increasingly found game time hard to come by. England international right-back Clyne, who missed most of the last two years through injury, was farmed out on loan to Bournemouth in January after the emergence of Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Mignolet, meanwhile, hasn’t played a Premier League match since Brazil number one Alisson Becker was snapped up last summer.
According to The Mail, however, Liverpool are still hoping to make a substantial profit on Clyne and Mignolet in the upcoming transfer window. The former is valued at £15 million with The Reds putting a £14 million price-tag on the Belgian goalkeeper, who was linked to Bournemouth last week via the Mail.
While Mignolet looks almost certain to leave, Liverpool could replace him with Trabzonspor’s 23-year-old shot-stopper Ugurcan Cakir.
Cakir’s agent told Ajansspor this week that the Champions League finalists have been watching the Turkish youngster.
