West Ham United are expected to bring former Cardiff City star Medel back to the Premier League from Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas.

Four years after finishing bottom of the Premier League table with Cardiff City, it seems that Gary Medel is heading back to English football.
Sky Sports reported on Wednesday that the Hammers are interested in signing the 31-year-old from Besiktas and are due to travel to Turkey for talks this week.
Manuel Pellegrini is understood to be a big fan of Medel, a fellow Chilian who won the Copa America twice in 2015 and 2016, and wants the deal tied up early in the January transfer window as he looks to make improvements to a team that recently won three games in a row for the first time in two years.
But how much will West Ham pay?

Well, according to Milliyet, the Hammers are understood to be offering £5 million – a fee Besiktas may need to accept with the club in severe financial difficulties.
The 2017 Super Lig champions were forced to release former Real Madrid defender Pepe earlier in December to save funds so £5 million might be too much to turn down for Medel, who has been playing in Istanbul since arriving from Inter Milan a year ago.
