Thomas Strakosha’s fine Serie A form has reportedly caught the eye of Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur will have to make Tomas Strakosha their second most expensive player ever if they want to sign the Lazio goalkeeper this summer, as reported by Il Messaggero.
The Albanian international has been Lazio’s number one for the last two years and continues to go from strength to strength under Simone Inzaghi in the Italian capital, helping to transform Lazio into genuine contenders for a Champions League place.
Calciomercato reported earlier in March that Spurs have identified Strakosha as a long-term successor for France captain Hugo Lloris and could make a move to sign him this summer. Strakosha, who is eight years younger than Lloris, would likely succeed the out-of-contract Michel Vorm in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad for the time being.

Il Messaggero, however, reports that Lazio are going to play hard-ball. Outspoken president Claudio Lotito rejected a £25 million bid from Liverpool last summer and have now put another £10 million onto his price-tag.
That would make Strakosha the second most expensive signing in Spurs’ history, behind Davinson Sanchez but ahead of Moussa Sissoko. On his form this season, however, he might be worth every penny.
