Lee Bowyer has led Charlton Athletic into the League One play-offs and has been linked with Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers.

Charlton Athletic manager Lee Bowyer is interested in taking over at Queens Park Rangers, according to Sky Sports.
QPR sacked Steve McClaren on Monday after a 2-1 home defeat at relegation threatened Bolton Wanderers left the club 17th in the Championship, having won just one of their last 13 league games in a dismal spell since the turn of the year.
And Bowyer has emerged as a leading candidate with the 42-year-old doing a fine job down in League One with Charlton Athletic.
The former West Ham, Newcastle and Leeds United midfielder has thrived under testing circumstances at The Valley and it is claimed that his ability to get the best out of a team on a shoestring budget has impressed a QPR side who are operating under pressure from Financial Fair Play.

Sky adds that neither Bowyer or Charlton have received an approach from QPR yet.
But, with one of England’s most impressive young managers keen on a move to the Championship club, do not be surprised if he makes the short trip from The Valley to Loftus Road.
