Tyrone Mings looks set to leave Bournemouth on loan, with Championship duo Nottingham Forest and Derby County linked.

Bournemouth appear to have paved the way for Tyrone Mings to leave on loan after sealing a £12 million deal for Brentford defender Chris Mepham on Tuesday. And there is no shortage of interest.
As reported by the Express and Star, Midlands duo Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion are both interested in Mings.
And The Mirror (23 January, page 49) reports that bitter rivals Nottingham Forest and Derby County are also set to go head-to-head to snap up the 25-year-old before the end of this month.
Mings joined Bournemouth for £8 million in the summer of 2015 after a fabulous spell at Ipswich Town, but a series of injuries have seen him struggle to establish himself under Eddie Howe at the Vitality Stadium.

But the defender’s ability to play at left-back or at centre-half obviously appeals to Forest and Derby, who are a little weak in both positions.
Mings, who former Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy described as the Championship’s best left-back at the end of the 2014/15 season, would perhaps be an upgrade on Forest’s current options while Derby have endured something of an injury crisis in the position with Marcus Olsson and Craig Forsyth out for the long term.
