Could Felipe Anderson leave the Premier League after one season at West Ham United?

Real Madrid have emerged as shock contenders to sign West Ham United winger Felipe Anderson this summer, according to Sky Sports.

It is no secret that the Los Blancos are set to embark on a major squad overhaul this summer after the return of Zinedine Zidane, who has been given full control over signings and sales at the Santiago Bernabau.

Real are lacking a talismanic forward in the post-CR7 era and Eden Hazard has been the player most heavily tipped to become the club’s latest ‘Galatico’.

But Sky Sports report that the Spanish giants have failed with a £60 million bid as Chelsea want double that for their influential number ten.

As a result, Zidane could turn his attention to Anderson.

Anderson became West Ham’s record signing last summer when he joined from Lazio for £36 million, according to the BBC, and they have since been rewarded by some sparkling performances from the Brazil international.

Anderson has scored eight Premier League goals with many of those magical finishes with his wand of a right boot. As a result, Sky believes that his value has sky-rocketed to £65 million.

Although that would still make him a lot cheaper than Hazard.
