Liverpool are reportedly in danger of losing their manager to Real Madrid, who look set to fire Santiago Solari in the summer.

Real Madrid discussed a sensational swoop for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp after their humiliating Champions League defeat to Ajax on Tuesday night, as reported by AS.
Madrid have endured one of the worst weeks in their history, losing at home to Barcelona twice in league and cup before being thrashed 4-1 at the Santiago Bernebau by an Ajax side inspired by a Zinedine Zidane-esque Dusan Tadic.
As a result, the pressure has piled on manager Santiago Solari with the Spaniard, who was parachuted in from the Castilla to replace Julen Lopetegui in October, expected to be fired at the end of the season.
According to AS, embattled president Florentino Perez held talks with the club officials until 2:00am after their three-year reign as the Kings of Europe came to an end, with Solari’s replacement high on the agenda.

AS understands that Jose Mourinho could be handed a shock return to Madrid, while Germany boss Joachim Low and the trophy-hoarding Juventus don Max Allegri are also under consideration.
If AS is to be believed, Liverpool could face a challenge holding on to the charismatic Klopp, with the German included alongside Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino on Los Blancos’ initial five-man shortlist.
