Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers will reportedly face competition from La Liga and Ligue 1 sides for Scottish Premiership star Alfredo Morelos.

Real Betis are keeping tabs on Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, according to Marca.
The Colombian international has enjoyed a superb season in front of goal, scoring 29 times in all competitions for Steven Gerrard’s side, although a prolific record has often been undermined by ongoing disciplinary issues which have seen the striker sent off on five occasions in 2018/19.
And, despite signing a new four-year deal as recently as March, speculation continues to swirl around Morelos’s future with Marca claiming that Betis want to bring the 22-year-old to La Liga.
Quique Setien’s side, who are eleventh in the Spanish top flight, have yet to make a formal offer however and Marca points out that a deal will be very difficult to complete.
The report does claim that it is ‘almost a fact’ that Morelos will leave Ibrox this summer despite seemingly committing his future to the club and he will continue to listen to offers over the next few weeks.

Marca reported recently that Marseille are also interested in signing the one-time HJK Helsinki forward.
The Ligue 1 giants made a £5 million bid for Morelos last August, according to Liga Deportiva, and it remains to be seen how much they are willing to pay this time around.
