Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos dreams of the Premier League and could soon bid farewell to the Scottish Premiership after just one season at Ibrox.

The whole Alfredo Morelos saga is a little difficult to wrap your head around.
Rangers steadfastly refused to sell the Colombian hotshot in the winter despite receiving some mammoth bids from the Far East. According to the Scottish Sun, even a fourth bid from Chinese outfit Beijing Renhe worth £9 million was not enough to tempt the Glasgow giants to sell Morelos, who they paid just £1 million for last summer.
And just a few weeks later, Morelos signed a new contract until 2021.

Morelos has made no secret about his desire to move to the Premier League this summer and it seems that new, improved deal was more due to the fact that he wanted improved terms on the back of some excellent performances this season. Morelos had been one of the lowest paid members of the squad.

And the Daily Record now states that Rangers will cash in at the end of this season – though any interested suitor will possible have to offer an eight-figure sum with the Scottish giants already snubbing £9 million for a player who has scored 13 league goals in his debut campaign.
As such, Morelos seems certain to become the most expensive export in Rangers’ history, beating the £9 million Tottenham paid for Alan Hutton in 2008.
