Ligue 1 youngster Yanis Bensaber played for Rangers’ academy on Wednesday and even scored a goal for the Scottish Premiership side.

French forward Yanis Bensaber appears to be in line for a move to Rangers after turning out for the club’s youth team this week.
The Gers look set for another busy summer, having already sealed the permanent signing of Steven Davis from Southampton.
They have also offered a contract to Fenerbahce veteran Martin Skrtel, according to Fotospor, while attempting to lure Rennes defender Edson Mexer to Ibrox on a free transfer. The Daily Record claims that the 30-year-old is due to watch Sunday’s Old Firm derby clash with Celtic.
So Bensaber’s arrival has understandably gone under the radar.
But the 19-year-old forward featured for a Rangers academy side as they drew 3-3 with Corby Town on Wednesday night. He wore the number 11 shirt and even got on the scoresheet in the six-goal thriller.
Bensaber, who earned five caps for France at U16 level, most recently played for Lille though the forward appears to be on his way out of the Stade Pierre Mauroy.
It remains to be seen how long Bensaber has to impress at Rangers, or whether he will be offered a contract after his goalscoring debut.
