Lee Wallace has barely played in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers under Steven Gerrard and could be on his way to the Championship with the Robins.

Lee Wallace’s Rangers nightmare could be about to come to an end.
The 31-year-old’s future at Ibrox has been up in the air ever since he was suspended by the club in the aftermath of the 4-0 Scottish Cup semi-final defeat to Celtic in April, when he was allegedly at the centre of a row involving Kenny Miller and interim manager Graeme Murty.
Wallace has made just two appearances all season under Steven Gerrard, with converted midfielder Andy Halliday preferred in the left-back role instead in recent weeks.
Now, however, the former Rangers captain could be offered an escape route with Bristol City keen to offer him a fresh start. The Scottish Sun claims that Robins boss Lee Johnson is a fan of the experienced full-back, who is high on his list of priorities for the January transfer window.

It is understood that Bristol City are also keen on the one-time Dundee United starlet Ryan Gauld, who has slipped from view since making an ill-fated switch to Sporting Lisbon in 2014.
Florian Kamberi, the Swiss striker who has scored nine times this season, is another target for a Bristol City side who have lacked a prolific striker since Bobby Reid left for Cardiff City.
