Kenny Miller’s Rangers career looks over and he will reportedly now take up the reigns at Scottish Premiership newcomers Livingston.

Kenny Miller has not been short of offers since it emerged that his third spell at Scottish Premiership giants Rangers had come to an end.

But it seems the former Scotland international is set to make the next step instead – and reunite with his former Ibrox protege Ryan Hardie.
The Daily Record has reported that Miller has accepted a player-manager role at Livingston, who will be in the top flight next season after sealing successive promotions. It is understood that he held talks with Livi’s chairman and chief executive in order to put a plan together to figure out how the club can survive in the top flight.
This comes shortly after Livingston re-signed 21-year-old Rangers striker Hardie on loan until the end of the season on the back of eight goals in 14 games during a temporary spell in recent months.

And the appointment could be confirmed in the next 48 hours.
St Mirren, however, have not given up in luring Miller to Paisley but the former Derby, Celtic and Wolves striker has spoken openly in the past about his desire to coach when his playing career comes to an end and Livingston will provide him with the big break he needs.
And it would be interesting to see how Hardie develops under Miller’s wing.
