Newcastle United haven’t brought a new player to the Premier League all month despite links with Miguel Almiron, Moise Kean and Martin Terrier.

A transfer window that once again started with hope for Newcastle United fans, hope that Mike Ashley would sell, hope that new players would arrive, has once again descended into disappointment.
And, according to The Telegraph, manager Rafa Benitez is now prepared to walk away at the end of the season unless the club sign at least two of the targets he demanded when putting together his transfer wish list in December.
The Telegraph believes that Benitez is now at ‘breaking point’. And, with his contract due to expire in the summer, it is understood that the former Chelsea, Liverpool and Real Madrid boss could now decide to reject all offers and bid farewell to Tyneside in just five months’ time.
It is understood that Newcastle have a whole host of irons on the fire but it seems that they are no closer to their first signing of the window.

They are yet to meet the £26 million asking price for Atlanta United playmaker Miguel Almiron while potential deals for Lyon forward Martin Terrier and Juventus teenager Moise Kean are far from completion.
The report adds that Benitez would love to stay and build a legacy at Newcastle. But he must be wondering, after yet another window filled with frustration, that the club simply cannot match his ambitions.
