Inter Milan left-back Yuto Nagatomo could be on his way to England at last with both Everton and Queens Park Rangers potential destinations.
With The Times suggesting that the future of Queens Park Rangers left-back Jake Bidwell could be in doubt this summer as Mark Warburton plans to re-sign his former Brentford favourite at Nottingham Forest, it makes sense for Ian Holloway to draw up a contingency plan.
And replacing the popular left-sider with a 91-time international would certainly get fans talking. According to Football Italia, Loftus Road is one of the potential destinations for Inter Milan’s Japanese regular Yuto Nagatomo this summer along with Everton and Bayer Leverkusen.

The 30-year-old is one of the longest-serving players of the current Nerrazzuri squad but it is fair to say he has not exactly experienced a golden period in Inter’s history. Since signing from FC Tokyo after impressing at the 2010 World Cup, Nagatomo only has one Coppa Italia crown to show for seven years at the San Siro.
Inter have not even contested Champions League football since 2012.
And, after falling down the pecking order in recent seasons, making only 11 Serie A starts in the previous campaign, it appears that Nagatomo must now look elsewhere if he wants regular game time ahead of the World Cup in Russia next summer.
From San Siro to Loftus Road?
Therefore, he could be a major coup for a QPR side desperately in need of a boost after a disappointing 2016/17 season which saw them survive by just two points.
Football Italia claims that Everton are interested in Nagatomo as they aim to find a back-up option for Leighton Baines to replace Bryan Oviedo, who left for Sunderland in January.
However, nabbing him from under the noses of a Premier League side would make the move even more eye-catching for QPR.
