Report: QPR looking at highly-rated Chelsea youngster Isaac Christie-Davies

Isaac Christie-Davies’ contract with Premier League giants Chelsea is expiring soon and Championship side Queens Park Rangers are watching closely.

This latest generation of Chelsea youngsters looks as exciting as the last.

While Tammy Abraham and co are honing their trade out on loan, the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi, Trevor Chalobah and Kyle Scott have been turning heads aplenty in action for the club’s prestigious U23 team in recent times.

But for Isaac Christie-Davies, it seems that his future lies away from Stamford Bridge.

As reported by West London Sport, London neighbours Queens Park Rangers have taken the 20-year-old on trial, and he played in a development match against Crystal Palace on Monday afternoon.

Christie-Davies is out of contract at the end of the season, meaning QPR have the chance to snap him up if he makes a positive impression on the Loftus Road chiefs.

A former England U17 international who moved to Chelsea from Brighton at the age of 11, Christie-Davies is a box-to-box midfielder who has not made his senior bow for Antonio Conte’s side but has featured four times in the Checkatrade Trophy this season.

If he earns a contract at QPR, Christie-Davies will join Charlie Owens at Loftus Road, the teenage midfielder who moved to the Championship club on a free from Tottenham Hotspur over the summer.
