Geoff Cameron could reportedly leave Stoke City for Queens Park Rangers.

Queens Park Rangers are hoping for a busy end to the transfer window.
The Londoners were in crisis after successive 7-1 and 3-0 defeats to West Brom and Bristol City last week but things are looking up at Loftus Road now. QPR signed two proven Championship strikers in Tomer Hemed and Nahki Wells and have since returned to winning ways, beating Wigan in the league and Bristol Rovers in the EFL Cup.
And QPR are allegedly hoping to bring in a number of new faces before Friday’s deadline, too.
West London Sport claimed on Wednesday that Steve McClaren wants to raid former club Derby County for midfield duo Tom Huddlestone and George Thorne, while a centre-back is also on his radar.
The Standard has reported on Thursday that QPR are now holding talks with Stoke City about signing the experienced USA international Geoff Cameron on loan.

The 33-year-old, who can play anywhere across the defence and also in midfield, has not featured in any of Stoke’s five Championship games so far under Garry Rowett. But he would perhaps be first choice at a QPR side who have looked dismal at the back on occasions under McClaren.
The report adds that Aston Villa’s Tommy Elphick remains QPR’s top target, but Cameron is a solid alternative.
