Darren Moore was sacked by West Bromwich Albion in March but he is reportedly an option for Championship rivals Queens Park Rangers.

Queens Park Rangers have spoken to former West Bromwich Albion boss Darren Moore as they look to replace Steve McClaren at the earliest opportunity, as reported by Sky Sports.
Hawthorns legend Moore was sacked in controversial fashion in March despite leading the Baggies to fourth in the Championship table and performing his duties with dignity and understated intelligence since taking over initially as a caretaker towards the end of 2017/18.
But with QPR on the lookout for a new manager following the sacking of Steve McClaren last week, Sky claims they have made contact with Moore as they considered offering the 44-year-old an immediate return to the dugout.
Sky believe that Tim Sherwood (below) is still the number one target, however, and he will hold talks with the Championship outfit next week.

Crucially, Sherwood has a very good relationship with QPR’s director of football Les Ferdinand.
The report adds that Mark Warburton and Michael Appleton are also under consideration, while QPR have spoken to Steve Cotterill and Nigel Pearson about taking up the vacant managerial role at Loftus Road.
