Ligue 1 starlet Alexis Blin has been linked with a move to the Championship with Steve McClaren’s Queens Park Rangers.

In the last week, Queens Park Rangers have been linked with Mehmet Topal, Tom Huddlestone and George Thorne so clearly signing a central midfielder is a priority for Steve McClaren before Friday’s transfer deadline.
But, rather than the experienced Turkey international or the two Derby County men, it seems that QPR stand a good chance of signing a highly-rated Ligue 1 youngster instead.
According to La Depeche, there is a good chance Tolouse’s 21-year-old Alexis Blin will end August as a QPR player.
Blin, who has represented France twice at U21 level, has burst on to the scene in the last three seasons, making 26 appearances as Toulouse narrowly avoided relegation to Ligue 2 in 2017/18.
The 6ft youngster is primarily a defensive midfielder renowned for his ability to break up play and throw his body on the line. He scored once and set up three more goals last season, while collecting five yellow cards along the way.

Blin might not be a statement signing like Huddlestone or former Valencia star Topal but he could offer more energy and promise in the centre of the park.
QPR signed Tomer Hemed and Nahki Wells to boost their attacking options last week and the previously floundering hoops have won two games out of two since.
