Billy Garton reportedly has a chance to earn a contract at Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers.

Queens Park Rangers have taken young defender Billy Garton on trial with a view to offering him a contract at Loftus Road, according to West London Sport.
Steve McClaren’s side were beaten 4-3 at home against Birmingham City at the weekend, missing a penalty in stoppage time as they saw their hopes of securing a remarkable comeback to avoid defeat scuppered by the hand of Lee Camp.
But QPR fans could at least console themselves by knowing their club continues to scour the market for potential rough diamonds.
West London Sport is reporting that Billy Garton Jr is on trial with the club and will make an appearance for the development side against Crystal Palace on Monday afternoon.
Garton may be a familiar name to fans in England given that his father, also named Billy (second from the right), started his career with Manchester United and made over 50 appearances for the Red Devils between 1984 and 1990.

His son is now looking to follow in his footsteps. West London Sport add that the youngster, who moved to America at the age of two, has previously had trials at QPR’s local rivals Fulham.
