Theo Richardson swapped Leeds United for Old Trafford last summer but could head back to the Championship with Queens Park Rangers.

Queens Park Rangers have been scouring the land for young talents over the last few months and appear to have once again arrived at Old Trafford in pursuit of potential bargain signings.

In January 2017, QPR signed the highly-rated Sean Goss on a three year deal but, just 12 months later, the midfielder who has been likened to Michael Carrick left on a loan move to Rangers after making just a handful of Championship appearances.

And it seems there is now another Carrington starlet on QPR’s radar. It is understood that the London club have taken 19-year-old goalkeeper Theo Richardson on trial, according to West London Sport.

The teenager only moved to Man United last summer, earning a professional contract and joining from bitter rivals Leeds.

Richardson was initially tipped for big things when he arrived in Manchester, especially after producing a superb performance in a reserve clash with Manchester City during his trial period with the 20-time top division champions.

But just one year after making a controversial move from Leeds across the Pennines when his contract at Elland Road ran down, it seems that Richardson could be on the move again. West London Sport reports that QPR are also casting an eye over Fulham right-back Joe Felix.

It remains to be seen, however, whether Richardson would have been better off staying with Leeds.

The Elland Road giants are home to some of English football’s most exciting youngsters with the likes of Sam Dalby, Jordan Stevens and Kun Temenuzhkov arriving and vastly improving the club’s reserve ranks.

Leeds U18s also won the northern section of the Professional Development League on Saturday.
