Dylan McGeouch appeared certain to join Championship newcomers Blackburn Rovers from Hibernian but Queens Park Rangers have reportedly sneaked in.

After finishing a disappointing 16th in the Championship, Queens Park Rangers parted company with Ian Holloway for the second time.

And it seems that QPR already have a new signing lined up for their incoming boss. According to West London Sport, QPR are fighting London rivals Fulham and Brentford for the signature of highly-rated Hibernian midfielder Dylan McGeouch.
The 25-year-old has been one of the top performing midfielders in the Scottish Premiership in 2017/18 and was rewarded with a call-up for Alex McLeish’s international squad back in March.
The report claims that QPR have been watching McGeouch for some time and are planning to make an offer in the near future. It is understood that the former Celtic and Rangers youngster is at the top of a list of players the club’s scouts will suggest to McClaren when he, as expected, replaces Holloway in West London.

Blackburn had allegedly offered McGeouch a deal that blew fellow suitors Aberdeen out the water – but they could now miss out to QPR.
