Super Lig giants Besiktas have been regularly linked with Belgium’s World Cup winger Nacer Chadli but he’s still in the Championship with The Baggies.

Few expected that Nacer Chadli would still be a West Brom player three games into the new Championship season. But that is the situation with the Belgian international’s future very much up in the air heading into the final fortnight of the transfer window.
Chadli impressed as Belgium finished third at the World Cup, scoring that last-gasp winner against Japan that the BBC voted as their Goal of the Tournament. But, despite his success in Russia, the Birmingham Mail reports that no club has been willing to trigger his £17 million release clause.
And West Brom, to their credit, are refusing to let Chadli leave on the cheap.
It is reported that The Baggies will not accept a considerable loss on their £18 million record signing – and it could take a fee of at least £15 million for the board to consider selling the former Tottenham attacker.

Turkish Super Lig outfit Besiktas have been the side most consistently linked with Chadli. CNN Turk reported that they were in talks with the 29-year-old but his hefty price tag looks a risk when you consider that injuries restricted him to just five games last season.
West Brom have been refreshingly resilient in the transfer market, refusing to sell the likes of Jay Rodriguez or Craig Dawson on the cheap either.
