Championship duo Derby County and West Bromwich Albion both reportedly wanted Ola Aina on loan from Chelsea.

Ola Aina was one of the few positives from Hull City’s difficult 2017/18 season and looked set for a second spell in the Championship.
The highly-rated Chelsea defender is on the radar of Derby County and West Bromwich Albion, according to the Express and Star, with the second-tier duo both seemingly on the lookout for new right-backs.
Nigerian international Aina is a modern, attack-minded full-back who would offer Derby a buccaneering alternative to Andre Wisdom, a centre-back by trade. It is common knowledge, meanwhile, that West Brom want a right-back after a deal to sign Yeovil Town’s Tom James fell through.
But it seems that both Derby and the Baggies will be left disappointed.
As reported by Sky Sports, Aina is on his way to Italy for a medical at Serie A side Torino. He is expected to sign on a season-long loan with the option to make his move permanent next summer should he impress with I Granata.

Crucially, Sky adds that the 21-year-old is keen to try his hand abroad, which could bring an end to any remaining hopes Derby and West Brom had of luring him to the Midlands.
Although you cannot blame Aina for trying to broaden his horizons.
