Richarlison has scored 12 Premier League goals since joining Everton from Watford and has allegedly caught the eye of La Liga champions Barcelona.

Barcelona are keeping tabs on Everton forward Richarlison as they prepare to rejuvenate the club’s front line this summer, a club source has told ESPN on Tuesday.

Richarlison has been a big hit in his debut season at Goodison Park, following up his club-record £50 million move from Watford with 12 Premier League goals while adapting impressively to a new centre-forward role having impressed out wide at Vicarage Road.

The 21-year-old has also forced his way into the senior Brazil squad and earned plenty of plaudits for his performance in an otherwise disappointing 1-1 draw with Panama over the weekend.

And it is claimed that Barcelona have identified Richarlison as one potential option as the La Liga champions scour the market for a talented young forward to replace the 32-year-old Luis Suarez at the Camp Nou.

But Richarlison is not their first choice.

“He is a good player and we like him, but there are other options better placed than him,” the source said.

The report adds that Barcelona are smitten with Manchester United’s homegrown superstar Marcus Rashford but accept that a deal for the England international will be very difficult. Eintracht Frankfurt’s ‘Serbian Falcao’ Luka Jovic is also on their radar.

The Daily Star reported recently that Everton would demand £80 million for Richarlison; a fee that could put him out of Barcelona’s reach.
