Middlesbrough midfielder Lewis Wing is reportedly a target for Championship clubs Preston North End, Rotherham United and Millwall.

Dael Fry is not the only local lad coming on leaps and bounds at Middlesbrough this season.
Like the England U21 centre-back, Lewis Wing is rapidly becoming a rising star under Tony Pulis at the Riverside, a year-and-a-half after the Newton Aycliffe-born attacker got his big break following an impressive spell in non-league with Shildon.
The 23-year-old has been particularly influential in Boro’s run to the quarter finals of the EFL Cup, scoring a stunning long-range winner against Crystal Palace which earned him the competition’s Player and Goal of the Round awards.
But Wing’s opportunities in the Championship have been rather more limited with just three starts to his name from 17 games. And, according to the Northern Echo, there is no shortage of clubs keen to offer the talented midfielder a chance to claim more regular first-team football in the second half of the season.

Millwall, Preston North End and Rotherham United are understood to be interested in a short-term loan move.
Middlesbrough may be willing to let Wing leave on a temporary basis but the youngster is clearly highly-rated at the Riverside, having been handed a new three-year deal last month.
