Fabian Delph looks certain to leave Manchester City this summer with Newcastle United, West Brom, Burnley and Celtic all keen.

Manchester City’s Fabian Delph has barely featured in two years
Although Aston Villa fans may still hold a grudge, the majority could probably forgive Fabian Delph for jumping at the chance to join Manchester City in the summer of 2015.
After all, it is not every day you get an opportunity to join one of the Premier League’s elite. Nonetheless, after two miserable seasons at the Etihad, it appears that the time is right for Delph to accept defeat and revive his career elsewhere.

Though he will not be short of options. The Daily Star claim Premier League trio Newcastle United, West Brom and Burnley are interested in the 27-year-old, while Scottish Champions Celtic are also keen.
Burnley and West Brom are both on the lookout for reinforcements after Joey Barton’s 18 month ban for betting offences and subsequent release, plus Darren Fletcher’s sudden move to Stoke City. However, it appears that Newcastle may be the most likely destination for the nine-time England international.
West Bromwich Albion have lost captain Darren Fletcher
According to the Daily Mail, they have been interested since as far back as January as Rafael Benitez aimed to add the £8m Delph to his squad midway through their Championship title-winning campaign.
And the 27-year-old’s incisive passing, energetic running and Premier League experience could prove invaluable to Magpies side aiming to do more than just survive in their first season back in the top flight.

Doubts persist about the quality of Jack Colback while Isaac Hayden is completely untested in the top flight – meaning handing Delph a lifeline makes sense.
With a series of injuries and Manchester City’s glut of talented central midfielders limiting him to just 10 starts in two Premier League seasons, Delph would certainly benefit from a fresh start.
