Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray have reportedly offered Oumar Niasse an escape route out of the Premier League and Everton.

Oumar Niasse of Everton celebrates scoring his sides first goal during the Premier League match between West Ham United and Everton at London Stadium on May 13, 2018 in London, England.

It seems that Oumar Niasse has grown tired with life on the Everton bench.

The Senegal striker has made just 12 Premier League starts for The Toffees since his £13 million move from Lokomotiv Moscow in the January 2016 transfer window. And he has played just 13 minutes of Everton’s two fixtures so far in 2018/19.

As a result, Skor reports that Niasse is hoping to bid farewell to Goodison Park before the end of August with Galatasaray offering him an escape route.

Gala, Super Lig champions in 2017/18, are scouring the market for a new centre-forward with Bafetimbi Gomis expected to leave this month. The former Swansea City man will leave big boots to fill, having scored 32 goals in 38 games in all competitions last season.

Gunes stated last week that Everton manager Marco Silva had given Niasse the green light to make the move to Turkey. And with the former Hull City loanee now keen on life in Istanbul, it seems only a matter of time before the transfer is made official.

Niasse scored eight goals in 10 Premier League starts last season and his exit will leave Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin as Everton’s only natural centre-forwards.
