Oumar Niasse has played just 48 minutes of Premier League football this season and appears to be on his way to the Turkish Super Lig champions.
The Oumar Niasse to Galatasaray rumours aren’t going away any time soon.
Everton’s Senegal striker was heavily linked with a move to the Turkish Super Lig champions throughout the summer transfer window. Skor even claimed in August that Niasse was keen on a move to Galatasaray, having been given the green light to leave by Marco Silva.
And new reports from Fanatik have now shed light on the situation.
It is claimed that Niasse did agree a deal in principle with Galatasaray two months ago but both clubs ran out of time to get the deal over the line.
Though Fanatik adds that the Istanbul-based giants will once again make the former Lokomotiv Moscow man a priority in January. They will reportedly offer to take Niasse on loan, having done similar with Henry Onyekuru.
Interestingly, it is claimed that the 28-year-old, who joined Everton in January 2016 for £13 million, is keen to work with the legendary Turkish manager Fatih Terim (below), who is enjoying a fourth spell in charge of Galatasaray.
Niasse has struggled for game time at Everton of late despite impressing Silva during a 2016/17 loan spell at Hull City. He has made just four substitute appearances in the Premier League, playing 48 minutes.
