Premier League newcomers Fulham reportedly want to sign Oliver Norwood from Brighton and Hove Albion on a permanent basis, but so do Hull City.

After starting just half of Fulham’s Championship fixtures last season, it seems that Oliver Norwood has his heart set on more regular first-team football in the upcoming campaign.
And, according to the Mirror (live blog, 10.17pm), this is why he could snub a return to Craven Cottage in order to sign for Hull City instead.
27-year-old Norwood spent the 2017/18 campaign on loan at Fulham from Brighton and Hove Albion, helping the Cottagers secure their return to the Premier League after six years in the second tier.
Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic is a big fan and wants to sign the former Manchester United midfielder on a £1.5 million permanent deal. But it is understood that Norwood is concerned that he will only have a bit-part role at Craven Cottage and his alleged concerns are not unjustified.
Fulham have only recently shattered their transfer record to land Jean Michel Seri from Nice.

As a result, the Mirror adds that Norwood is contemplating giving up a first ever spell in the Premier League in order to return to the Championship with Hull City, who finished a disappointing 18th under Nigel Adkins last season.
Norwood would surely be a key player at the heart of Hull’s midfield, so a move to Humberside would see him feature more regularly.
The Mirror adds that Fulham are keen on another of Brighton’s fringe players, winger Jiri Skalak.
