Liam Bridcutt has not played a Championship game under Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi and he could allegedly join Bolton Wanderers.

Nottingham Forest midfielder Liam Bridcutt is ‘on the brink’ of joining League One crisis club Bolton Wanderers, according to the Mirror (live blog, 7.47am).
With just hours remaining before the transfer deadline passes, Forest still have a number of players stuck in the bomb squad and crying out for an escape route out of the City Ground.
But after forgotten winger Gboly Ariyibi left to join Greek giants Panathinaikos, Bridcutt could also be set to bid farewell to the two-time European giants – albeit via a far less glamorous move.
Bolton have conceded five goals in each of their last four games in all competitions and they are nailed to the bottom of the League One table with minus 11 points to their name.

Though things are looking up at last with Football Ventures saving the club from liquidation last week. Bolton have since appointed a proven, lower league manager in Keith Hill and will now spend deadline day scouring the market for players capable of bringing some much needed experience to a squad full of kids.
Bridcutt, at 30, would provide exactly that. A former Leeds United captain who has also played for Brighton and Sunderland, the two-time Scotland international has been out of favour at Forest for the best part of a year and he could relish the challenge of keeping Bolton in the third tier.
