Premier League winner Aro Muric is reportedly on his way to the Championship with Forest despite links with Preston North End.

Nottingham Forest appear to be on the verge of signing Aro Muric with the Sun (27 June, page 52) claiming that Manchester City have decided to send the highly-rated goalkeeper on loan to the City Ground for the 2019/20 season.
It was first reported about two weeks ago that Martin O’Neill’s Championship giants were hopeful of signing the 20-year-old shot-stopper on a temporary basis.
A Swiss-born talent who represented Montenegro at U21 level before changing his international allegiance to Kosovo, the cosmopolitan Muric is one of the most promising young goalkeepers around and made a big impression in his five first-team appearances for City last season.
All of those came in the EFL Cup and, after a brilliant performance in a penalty shoot-out victory against Leicester City, Pep Guardiola described his young charge as ‘incredible’, as reported by the Metro.

And it seems as if Nottingham Forest have won the race to bring this ‘incredible’ goalkeeper in on loan for the season with The Sun claiming that City have given a potential switch the green light.
The Sun (23 June, page 60) stated that Championship rivals Preston North End were attempting to hijack the deal but it seems only a matter of time now before Muric joins Forest instead.
