Joel Robles reportedly wants to leave Everton and Nottingham Forest may offer him the chance to do just that.

Nottingham Forest’s long-running pursuit of a new number one goes on.
Sky Sports reported on deadline day morning that they had enquired about Newcastle United outcast Tim Krul although The Mail (live blog, 1.34pm) reports that the Dutchman is now set to join fellow Premier League newcomers Brighton and Hove Albion instead on a season-long loan.
This latest blow comes as the Nottingham Post report that Forest are unlikely to sign Danish international Frederik Ronnow from Brondby despite making a third bid for the 25-year-old. The report claims that Ronnow was not keen on the idea of moving to England’s second tier.

Consequently, Forest will now readjust their sights again with Everton’s Joel Robles the latest ‘keeper linked with a move to the City Ground. The Spaniard was expected to leave Goodison Park after falling to third choice in the pecking order and rejecting a new contract.
However, after a return to Spain with Deportivo fell through due to a lack of funds on part of the La Liga club, via Marca, the Nottingham Post reports that he is a potential target for Forest.

Joel has largely been reduced to a back-up role since following Roberto Martinez from Wigan Athletic to Everton but impressed when stepping in for the injured Maarten Stekelenburg last season.
Though he may face a challenge dislodging 22-year-old Jordan Smith, who has shone between the sticks for Forest in recent months.
