Sabri Lamouchi is apparently keen to see if fellow Frenchman El Khabchi can make the grade with Championship high-flyers Nottingham Forest.

Nottingham Forest are set to sign free agent Frenchman Ilyas El Khabchi, according to TEAMtalk.
Forest fans might know precisely nothing about the 21-year-old, understandable really considering he was last seen in the French fifth-tier, but that should put precisely no one off what could potentially be another inspired addition.
The likes of Samba Sow, Alfa Semedo, Brice Samba and Chema Rodriguez were hardly household names on the banks of the Trent too but, since moving to the City Ground, they have helped transform Nottingham Forest into genuine Championship challengers.
According to TEAMtalk, El Khabchi made the journey across the channel in an attempt to earn a contract in England and the former Jura Dulois star could be rewarded for his efforts with a move to the City Ground.

The report claims that Forest are looking to tie down El Khabchi before anyone else gets wind of his potential with a deal until the end of the season on the cards. Sabri Lamouchi, a fellow Frenchman, apparently wants to give El Khabchi a chance in the U23s before potentially promoting him to the senior squad.
The East Midland giants have struck gold on a number of occasions already this year in the transfer market so there should be plenty of confidence among the fanbase in El Khabchi’s ability.
A quick glance at YouTube highlights a player with great footwork, plenty of pace and a wand of a left foot.
