Claudio Yacob was released by West Brom in May but he is reportedly heading to Championship side Nottingham Forest.

How many midfielders do Nottingham Forest need? Well, one more it seems.
Aitor Karanka can already call upon Ben Watson, Jack Colback, Ben Osborn, Adlene Guedioura, Liam Bridcutt and Ryan Yates, while Greek international Panagiotis Tachtsidis arrived at the City Ground on Tuesday after leaving Olympiakos.
Nonetheless, the Nottingham Post reports that Forest are set to make their 16th signing of the summer. It is claimed that Claudio Yacob is on his way to the East Midlands.
The 31-year-old Argentine is a free-agent having been released by West Brom after their relegation to the Championship last season. And, after over two months of unemployment, Yacob is set to return to English football with Nottingham Forest.
The tough-tackling midfielder spent the last six seasons at The Hawthorns and was a regular in West Brom’s engine room, making 160 Premier League appearances.

Moving to Forest, however, will represent Yacob’s first ever spell in the second division of English football.
And after the sluggish defeat to Brentford on Saturday, where Forest struggled to get to grips with the game in central midfield, the former Racing Club enforcer could add some much-needed combativeness.
