Rennes’ former Ligue 1 goalkeeper Abdoulaye Diallo could reportedly become Sabri Lamouchi’s first signing at Nottingham Forest.

Sabri Lamouchi is looking to put his stamp on Nottingham Forest and Get Football News France reports that the club’s new manager is looking to reunite with his former Rennes goalkeeper Abdoulaye Diallo at the City Ground.
47-year-old Lamouchi was surprisingly named as Forest’s fifth permanent manager since the start of 2016/17 on Friday, appointed just 20 minutes after Martin O’Neill’s ill-fated reign came to an end.
It remains to be seen what style and approach the former France international will favour in the Championship, given that he is something of an unknown in English football.
But reports from across the channel suggest that Lamouchi is looking to reinforce Nottingham Forest’s squad with a player he knows well.
27-year-old Senegal international Diallo played under the former Ivory Coast boss at Rennes, although he was often a back-up option rather than the undisputed number one.

Diallo became a free agent over the weekend when his contract at Rennes expired and Get Football News France claims that he has held talks over a reunion with Lamouchi, despite claims that he was set for Turkish outift Genclerbirligi.
It remains to be seen what this means for Aro Muric, the Manchester City loanee who looked set to sign for Forest on loan before O’Neill was sacked.
The Sun (30 June, page 59) claims that Muric is still a priority. Could the 20-year-old be Forest’s number one with Diallo in reserve? If so, that means Costel Pantilimon’s place could come under threat.
