Panagiotis Tachtsidis has not made a single Championship appearance for Nottingham Forest since arriving from Greek outfit Olympiakos in September.

Panagiotis Tachtsidis could soon go down as one of the most forgettable signings in Nottingham Forest’s history.
The Greek international midfielder only arrived at the City Ground in September, joining on a free after he was released by Olympiakos. But unlike Claudio Yacob, who joined at the same time, Tachtsidis has been unable to make any sort of an impact at the former European champions.
The 27-year-old has not made a single appearance in the Championship and has only been included in the matchday squad once. And according to Alfredo Pedulla, Tachtsidis could be on his way out of Forest before he’s even made his debut.
It is understood that Serie B outfit Lecce are in talks to sign Tachtsidis when the transfer window opens next month and the former Roma enforcer wants to return to Italy after a torrid spell in the East Midlands.

With Tachtsidis well down the pecking order at Nottingham Forest, it seems he won’t be missed by manager Aitor Karanka.
And with Pedulla claiming that negotiations are advancing quickly, it seems that a deal could be struck sooner rather than later.
