Championship promotion chasers Nottingham Forest are still allegedly targeting new signings, including La Liga defender Chema Rodriguez.

Nottingham Forest have made an offer to sign Levante defender Chema Rodriguez, according to Cadena Ser.
It has been another summer of change at the City Ground with a new manager and eight new players. But with the transfer deadline still 24 hours away, there is time for Forest to make a couple of further additions.
Le10 Sport claims that Caen goalkeeper Brice Samba and Bordeaux striker Alexandre Mendy could be on their way to the banks of the Trent while reports today have linked Forest with a talented centre-half too.
A 27-year-old who played for Atletico Madrid in his youth, Chema impressed as Levante avoided relegation from La Liga last season.
Ligue 1 newcomers Brest are interested but Cadena Ser claims that Nottingham Forest’s offer is far greater than their French counterparts. And, after signing Ruben Vezo and Oscar Duarte, Levante are prepared to let Chema go.

El Desmarque claimed earlier in the summer that Chema was keen to join Fulham, who had expressed an interest in luring the Spaniard to Craven Cottage.
Fulham conceded 81 goals in the Premier League last season and they looked suspect again in their shock 1-0 defeat in Saturday’s Championship opener against Wigan Athletic. So with Forest making their move, The Cottagers must respond before it’s too late.
