Premier League Crystal Palace need to replace Manchester United-bound Aaron Wan-Bissaka but Norwich CIty won’t let Max Aarons go.

Crystal Palace are preparing for the departure of Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United by stepping up their interest in Atalanta star Timothy Castagne, according to the Mirror (27 June, page 65) – although they appear to have given up hope of signing Norwich City’s Max Aarons.
Just a year after making his debut for the Palace first-team, Croydon-born Wan-Bissaka is set to complete a remarkable rise by moving to Old Trafford for £55 million – a fee that would make him the most expensive full-back in football history.
Replacing Wan-Bissaka will be easier said than done but Crystal Palace are not going to wait around.
The Mirror claims that Roy Hodgson’s side were keen to sign highly-rated Norwich starlet Max Aarons but they appear to have given up hope with the newly-promoted Canaries desperate to keep hold of their 19-year-old.
As a result, Palace are now apparently going all out for Castagne instead.

The swashbuckling Belgian international is valued at £20 million after a fabulous season in which he helped Atalanta qualify for the Champions League and reach the Coppa Italia final.
He would add speed and thrust down the flanks and there are few better, at least within Crystal Palace’s grasp, who would be better suited to replacing Wan-Bissaka.
And Norwich will be thrilled by these latest developments, especially after tying down another coveted defender in Ben Godfrey.
