Malaga winger Javier Ontiveros could be heading to the Premier League with Norwich City, Sheffield United or Crystal Palace, according to reports.

Norwich City are leading Sheffield United and Crystal Palace in the chase to sign explosive Malaga winger Javier Ontiveros, according to ESPN.
The likes of Pablo Fornals, Isco and Santi Cazorla have all made their name as exciting attacking midfielders at La Rosaleda and Ontiveros is no different. The former Spain u19 international has looked promising for a few years now and, last season, he really stepped up in style.
With eight goals and 12 assists in all competitions, Ontiveros added end product to his speed and skill, helping Malaga secure promotion back to La Liga after one season in the second tier.
Whether he sticks around, however, remains to be seen.
ESPN claim that Crystal Palace want to sign Ontiveros, perhaps seeing him as a long-term successor for the much-coveted Wilfried Zaha, while Premier League newcomers Sheffield United apparently want to add some sparkle to their attack by bringing him in alongside new recruit Luke Freeman.

As it stands, however, Norwich are in pole position and, given that director of football Stuart Webber has a remarkable track record when it comes to unearthing diamonds in the rough, that should really be no surprise.
Ontiveros’s direct style and ability to produce something out of nothing means he would fit right in alongside Onel Hernandez, Marco Stiepermann and co at Carrow Road.
