Premier League newcomers Norwich City were reportedly plotting a deal to sign Andre Dozzell from Anglian rivals Ipswich Town.

Norwich City are keen to raid bitter rivals Ipswich Town for Andre Dozzell. But, according to the Eastern Daily Press, they are less than enamoured about the prospect of paying £5 million for the Portman Road starlet.
Talented midfielder Dozzell gave Ipswich fans something to cheer during a miserable 2018/19 season which ended in the Tractor Boys finishing bottom of the Championship table.
But with just 12 months left on his contract, there is a real concern that the Ipswich-born youngster could be on his way out of the club just a few months after bursting onto the scene.
According to TWTD, Crystal Palace and Brighton are interested while Norwich were plotting a controversial bid to snap up one of their local neighbour’s brightest young prospects.

Yet Ipswich manager Paul Lambert wasn’t lying when he said that interested parties would have to offer a ‘hell of a lot of money’ to tempt the League One outfit into selling Dozzell before the end of the transfer window.
The EDP believes that Ipswich want £5 million and that is a fee that Norwich are simply not willing to pay for a player who has only started 17 league games in his entire career.
