Teemu Pukki’s nine goals in 14 Championship games has fired Norwich City to the top of the table – but could he leave Carrow Road in January?

Norwich City have come from nowhere to lead the Championship table after 17 games. And the hero behind the stunning rise is none other than Teemu Pukki.
While the likes of Marco Stiepermann, Emi Buendia and Onel Hernandez have shone in yellow and green, the Finnish striker is the jewel in Daniel Farke’s crown right now. Pukki, who signed on a free from Brondby, has scored nine times in 14 Championship games.
So the prospect of losing the former Celtic flop in January simply doesn’t bare thinking about.
But, according to Gunes, Galatasaray are lurking. It is understood that the reigning Turkish Super Lig champions sent a scout to watch Pukki during Saturday’s dramatic Championship clash against Millwall and they will no doubt have been impressed.
Pukki scored twice, including a remarkable 97th minute winner to seal a breathless 4-3 victory which keeps The Canaries at the top of the table.

It is no secret that Galatasaray have been scouring Britain for a new centre-forward with Oumar Niasse, Shinji Okazaki and Divock Origi having been linked recently.
And Norwich can only pray that Pukki will not have his head turned by Galatasaray, who will be hoping to secure a place in the Champions League knockout rounds to make the move to Istanbul even more tempting.
