Could Daniel Farke leave Norwich City with the Canaries in the Championship’s automatic promotion places?

There is no one inside or outside Carrow Road questioning the Daniel Farke project right now.
Norwich City finished a disappointing mid-table under the former Borussia Dortmund youth coach last season but have been a team transformed in recent months, scoring goals for fun and playing arguably the best football anywhere in the Championship.
As a result, Norwich are guaranteed a place in the top two on Christmas day, sitting in second place and a point adrift of Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United.
So, with a return to the Premier League seemingly on the cards, the prospect of losing Farke now simply does not bare thinking about.
But, according to RB Online, Farke has emerged as a candidate to replace the much-maligned Heiko Herrlich at Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen.

Despite boasting one of the most talented squads in Germany’s top flight, including Kai Havertz, Leon Bailey, Kevin Volland and Karim Bellarabi, Leverkusen are stuck in 11th position having missed out on a place in the Champions League on the final day of last season.
RB Online reports that Leverkusen could now replace club legend Herrlich during the January winter break, with Farke in line to succeed him at the Bay Arena.
It is understood that the 2001 Champions League runners-up are also looking at Peter Bosz (below) – the former Ajax boss who flopped at Dortmund – and the highly-rated Red Bull Salzburg coach Marco Rose.
